SPHINX-IT recently decided to modernize its brand name FIRMWAREprojects into SPHINXprojects.
The new brand name reflects the wave of modernization and the overall integration of SPHINXprojects into the product vision of SPHINX-IT, namely the use of modern Microsoft software and services that provide a high added value for the users, and a significant return on investment for your company.

Many construction and installation companies have extensive administration files per project. These are often managed in different software applications and files which are not well coordinated. By consolidating document and schedule information in one central system, the efficiency and customer service increases significantly. SPHINXprojects provides all these needs into a single integrated system.

How does the technical platform look like ?

The solution has been developed using Microsoft technologies. With extensive experience in the sector, we have a large number of default project components that we seamlessly combine in order to provide a solution that perfectly fits with the needs of the customer.
These components include functionality for administration follow up, purchase, sales, job planning, invoicing, after sales service, reporting, and so on. The underlying database is Microsoft SQL Server.

This relational database is very stable, performant and the business standard within Microsoft. We use the reporting tools (business intelligence), which are available within the SQL database engine. This provides unprecedented opportunities to present business information in an insightful way.

Are the users quickly familiar with the environment?

SPHINXprojects is built from a familiar Microsoft Office environment. SPHINXprojects works seamlessly with the existing Office applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.

The new development guidelines of Microsoft applications are closely followed and integrated in SPHINXprojects applications. These guidelines ensure the further evolution of the product! One example: many businesses today are using SharePoint, the intranet portal technology from Microsoft. This application is a free component of Windows Server 2003/2008.
