YDS Chemicals integrates business processes with FIRMWARE®
YDS Chemicals NV is a dynamic distribution company, specialized in supply of “specialty” chemical products towards customers in the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetics industry located all over Europe. Quick delivery, flexibility in the supply chain and 100% customer service are all keystones of the success of YDS Chemicals.
In order to support its growing need for analytical business information and logistic efficiency, YDS Chemicals NV was on the look-out for a scalable and affordable business software solution to replace the existing administration platform, based on Excel sheets and a DB-Fact DOS accounting system. Mid 2005, YDS Chemicals selected SPHINX-IT as software partner to develop a business software system that would be able to support the company's growing number of customers and business opportunities.
In close collaboration with the project team at YDS Chemicals, SPHINX-IT managed in only 6 months time to develop and implement a comprehensive FIRMWARE® business solution that integrates YDS Chemicals' complex and unique set of business processes. The joint development effort has lead to a management information system that fits the YDS organization like a glove.
