Having worked for years on an AS400 based vertical application for fruit importers, linked with FiAd/400 financials, Van Assche Oscar Fruit was on the lookout for an integrated, modern and cost effective solution that could generate the necessary analytical, financial and logistic information on the spot. The prime reason being that in the fruit commissioning business, keeping a clear overview of revenues and costs per commissioning "dossier" (supplier – commissioner – customer) is of vital importance.

Van Assche Oscar Fruit NV therefore selected SPHINX-IT to implement Microsoft Dynamics NAV, enhanced with SPHINXtrace and a number of additional developments for comprehensive dossier administration and follow-up. In close co-operation with Mr. Olivier Van Assche and his team, SPHINX-IT managed, in 6 months time, to switch on the new system and assure a successful go-live.

Enriched with the SPHINXtrace Tracking & Tracing module, the new solution keeps all traceability information automatically stored, thus assuring high quality standards and an absolute safety guarantee across all product lots.
