Microsoft Dynamics NAV supports INTERPARTS' continuous growth

InterpartsInterparts, located in Zwijnaarde, has acquired throughout the years a solid reputation in the Belgian market as an exclusive dealer of DOOSAN - DAEWOO excavators.
Founded in 1968 as a subsidiary of a Dutch company selling components of excavators, Interparts became an independent organization in 1987, lead by Mr. Rony Mahieu.

The company used for the last 15 years "Reflexion", a character-based application that reached the end of its lifecycle.
"We used to work with a time consuming, bespoke IT solution that could no longer support our actual needs. In order to support our clear focus on outstanding delivery and service management we have implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV" says Mia De Groote, Financial Manager at Interparts NV. "With Microsoft Dynamics NAV, we have an accurate system, able to manage all our data. NAV supports our vision of providing enterprise information in order to deliver quality products and after sales- service to our customers."

The high functionality, the familiar MS Outlook setting and the possibility to enjoy Total Solution Financing (SPHINX-IT and Microsoft financed the software licence during 36 months) convinced Interparts NV to choose for Microsoft Dynamics NAV in July 2005. The implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV went steady, so that the employees could maintain complete control and visibility of the business process. In close cooperation with Interparts, SPHINX-IT managed, in only 6 months time, to switch on the new system and assure a successful take-off.
Today, the information system is up and running. Service Management is an excellent integrated Dynamics NAV module, to give Interparts’ customers the best service they need: customers are receiving their service just in time. "With Service Management, we can faster identify the problems. When there is a problem with an excavator and they need urgent help, we can check rapidly into the system which spare parts we have in stock and deliver them quickly" explains the workshop manager.

Now that we are aware of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV possibilities, a number of projects are planned for the future. Data collection of our stock with scanning devices and improved sales administration will be the next steps to make our business even more efficient with the use of Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
